If you need a pharmacist to really work with you on different flavors and formulations when previous iterations have not worked, then Triangle Compounding Pharmacy is THE place to go. My cat is on compounded fluoxetine, which is quite bitter. The retail pharmacy we were using was accredited, which was great, but their answer to the bitterness problem was to add tons of marshmallow flavoring. That solution did work, and I could get my cat to take it via oral syringe, but he could still smell it and he wouldn't take the med in food.

When I had the prescription transferred to Triangle, they listened to my concerns and they tried several different flavors. They really care about their patients, including the kitties! And now thanks to Triangle, I now have a formulation that my cat will happily eat in food. My stress level is cut in half, and so is my cat's.
